恐竜を見てきました。
ホストファミリーと愉快な仲間たちで、恐竜の街、ドラムヘラーへ行ってきた。カルガリーから車で1時間半。
恐竜のモニュメントだらけのこの街、恐竜ファンにはオススメです。
恐竜の中を階段で登ることができて、お口から街を眺めることができます。
まぁ…子供だましな感じもするけど、恐竜ファンにはうれしいのではないでしょうか…。ね。
子供連れで溢れていた『ロイヤル・ティレル古生博物館』。
10万点を越す化石が展示されていました。
その後、RosedaleやThe Hoodoosといったポイントをしっかり鑑賞。Hoodoosは、巨大なキノコの形をした砂岩の土柱です。
ドラムヘラー一帯は、谷地なので、グランドキャニオンもびっくりな形状の景色が続きます。
カルガリーとはまったく違った景色を楽しむことができるドラムヘラー。
なかなか楽しかったとです。
綺麗な夕日を眺めて帰ってきました。
さて。月曜日からは5日間ほど旅に出ます。
